The creed of the common peopleThe scholars transmitted a story from the regulator about the reason why he organized this system, which is: that the regulator saw the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a dream on the last Friday night of the first Friday of Rajab 1258 AH, and his companions, may God be pleased with them, were standing around him. And the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: (Read the system of monotheism that whoever memorizes it will enter Paradise, and obtains the intended purpose of every good in accordance with the Book and the Sunnah. He said to him: What is that system, O Messenger of God? The companions said to him: Hear from the Messenger of God what he says. The Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said: Say: I begin with the name of God and the Most Gracious. He said: I begin with the name of God and the Most Gracious
